Body Sparkling Mist as it is named after, there isn’t any glitter in it… at all.
The first body mist by Althea Korea, the Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is a collaboration project done with the Jakarta famous celebrity and singer, Titi Kamal, a very well-known beauty enthusiast. Best identified by her luxuriously long black hair, she’s a beauty icon that’s captured the hearts of fans all across Southeast Asia.
While I use facial mists on a daily basis, I have never develop a habit of using body mist. I detest overpowering artificial scents so I tend to be very picky with fragrances. While this seems to be a combination of floral and fruity scents, with key ingredients such as Damask rose water, I do find that rose-scented products are either a hit or a miss for me. How will this body mist fare then?
The Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist is a lightweight body fragrance embodied with a sparkling mix of sweet orange and peach, followed by an ever-graceful echo of rosy floral notes.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Damask rose water – Keeps the skin hydrated and gives a gentle fragrance
Orange Flower extract – Refreshes the senses
Elder flower extract – Cools and soothes the skin, while giving out a feminine scent
Other Ingredients
Alcohol, Water, Glycerin, Fragrance, Pentylene Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Extract, Magnolia Liliflora Flower Extract, Plumeria Rubra Flower Extract, Lilium Tigrinum Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin
Not overbearingly strong, this gentle perfume lingers on the body for a long-lasting scent. These days I always use this product after shower, and it smells like sweet fruits at first, and fresh floral scent is followed, which is feminine and gorgeous. It also has a non-sticky formula that feels comfortable on the skin.
The downside to this fantastic mist? Its packaging.
It isn’t leak proof. I dropped it on the floor quite a few times (blame it on the clumsy me) and the cap does not seem to be alight with the bottle to close tight at all. In fact, prominent visible cracks can be seen on it.
I was expecting chic and modern design on the packaging just like the other Althea’s products. But no, it’s just a simple white plastic bottle – although the packaging is lightweight and perfectly sized to fit in our handbag or travel carry on. So, I guess there is always a trade off. However, please do not judge the body mist based on its look as it does smell refreshing and I have use almost half of the product by now.
So, the question is … would I repurchase it?
Surprisingly, I truly enjoy and like the refreshing fragrance! Packaging aside, this body mist last throughout the day despite body mist always has a short scent longevity. And the price is quite reasonable, so you wouldn’t need to break your bank for a bottle. I’m gonna purchase it soon once I run out of it. 🙂

Spritz all over the body in a light layer before you head out the door. Take with you in your handbag or purse and use as fits your lifestyle.
